Our Hiring Process

Community Healthcore is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Race, gender, national origin, religion, age, or disability will not factor into employment consideration or final decision.

The hiring process for Community Healthcore is a very thorough and possibly lengthy one. Your patience and cooperation during the process is greatly appreciated. A fully-completed electronic application is required for consideration of employment. Resumes may be submitted, but will not be accepted in lieu of applications. The “Work History” section of the application must be completed even if work history is included in submitted resumes. It should include all employment history for the previous seven-year time period. Applicants will be required to furnish proof of high school diploma or GED, applicable degree(s) and/or the original of any license, certification, or college transcript as required by each position.

The following steps take place as we receive applications:

  1. Once an application is received, Human Resources will complete a series of pre-employment background checks. Criminal convictions, sex offender registry, and driving records will be checked through the Texas Department of Public Safety.
  2. Once an applicant has passed the required pre-employment background checks successfully, Human Resources then makes that application available to the appropriate hiring manager for review. The hiring manager of each posted position makes his/her own contacts for the purpose of screening candidates and/or scheduling interviews.
  3. If an interviewed applicant is selected to fill an open position, Human Resources will then verify all past employment for the previous seven-year period and check personal references.
  4. Once all the appropriate paperwork and pre-employment steps have been completed, Human Resources and the applicant will schedule a start date. Prior to start, newly hired employees will be required to submit to a tuberculosis skin test and drug/alcohol test.
