The Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program services include community outreach and education, screening for veterans with risk factors for suicide, reduction of access to lethal means, peer services, coordination of connection with crisis intervention, connection to VA and community mental health care, case management and resource referral.
The Veterans Suicide Prevention Outreach Worker will work collaboratively with other East Texas Veteran Resource Center staff, care coordination and other CHC program staff to engage veterans with a variety of services.
Income support may also be available to cover rent, utilities, transportation, employment, nutrition and other essential needs.
